Chelsea
Miss. February

Hello, my name is Chelsea and have you ever seen a prettier Miss. February?!   I came to AZGRC when my previous family decided I was not worth having around any longer.   I lived in the backyard and I tried not to be a bother, even though I didn’t feel very good most of the time.  But I still had to leave and I must say I was pretty scared the first few days in my new house.  However, I soon found out that I could come in and out of the house whenever I wanted.   Imagine that?!   And my new Mom and Dad are always petting me and telling me what a good girl I am.  They took me to a very nice doctor who made sure I got the medicine I needed to feel better and I even had an operation to fix my knee and guess what, it stopped hurting!

Today, I am part of a big, happy family with Mom, Dad, and my canine brother.   I get to play and I have my own toys (which I do share) and my own pillow to sleep on.   I go to the beauty parlor to keep me looking beautiful and I have regular doctor visits to make sure I stay healthy and feeling good.  Once in a while, Mom and Dad invite other dogs to come stay with us until they can find their own forever homes.   I always tell them that even though they may be a little scared at first; their life is going to change for the better.  Mine sure did!
